Melange submission

name: Rosangelica Lopez

class: English 9 Honors

teacher: Mrs. Dingee

title: My Theme for English 9 H

"This assignment is due tomorrow. Bring it to me."

and so, I got very excited, "Thanks Mrs. Dingee!"

I thought all about this poem, throughout the day.

I'm just thinking about it from periods 4 through 8.

Later on, I went to my locker and forgot to look.

So I just left, and forgot my literature textbook.

Without the book, I left to the Concourse.

Where I went and took the 1 bus of course.

There, I sat on the 1 bus with my friend.

I was just waiting for the bus ride to end.

And when I got to Sedgwick, my friends were in the library.

Not much of a reader because I'm just not very literary.

So I walked down the hill and said hello to some lady.

And now I'm finally home and finally on Bailey.

Now I'm in the elevator which seems like the 100th floor.

Once I got home, I knocked on my door.

I forgot about my homework. Ah, the art of procrastination.

Cause in my world, procrastination has its own nation.

And now it is 5 o'clock. I am such a dork.

Now I am watching the season finale of "I Love New York"

And then it hit me and I went to look,

in my book bag when I saw that I left my book.

Then I felt so sad. I actually wanted to do it.

Only homework I ever wanted to do, and now I blew it.

Then and there I realized the connection I had, gee!

I guess she is not so bad the Mrs. Dingee.

Then I went and did my French homework, and talked on the phone.

Listened to the song where Cassidy said he wanted Patrone.

Then it got late and my mom got home,

Then it's midnight and I was calling Nina on the phone.

She didn't pick up now so I can't get the poem.

I really wanted to do it cause I was at home.

So I wouldn't rush in the morning; it wouldn't be the same.

So I sat down; Rosie actually started to use her brain.

I did this poem, and you can even come and look.

I have a mind so bright that I did it without the book.

I did it without the book, and I didn't whine.

oh so proud to be in the honors class of English 9.
